ABOUT EMBASSY
Bosnia and Herzegovina established the Embassy in Canberra in 1993, initially located on State Circle. As early as 1995, the growing Bosnia and Herzegovina community began building a permanent Embassy and Residence complex.
That undertaking, overseen by the then Chargé d’affaires Mr Fuad Džidić, was completed in 2000. In 2011 the Embassy erected a plaque with the names of 1.234 individuals and organizations who selflessly contributed their time, skills and resources to build this magnificent complex.

In 2013, on the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Australia, the Embassy presented a gift to the Parliament of Australia, a stećak sculpture, which now proudly sits in the Australian Parliament House Formal Gardens.
